Are you a history nerd, or just sort of interested?  Hate bugs or love the outdoors?  Are you more of an introvert than an extrovert?  We have a spot for you, no matter who you are - teens, adults, businesses and organizations - from archives and collections to programming and exhibits; building and fixing stuff to yardwork and tours.

Volunteers play an essential role at HCFC. We strive to make all volunteer experiences enjoyable and valuable for everyone.

Welcome Desk

Do you enjoy interacting with people but prefer the comfort of a cushy chair and a warm cup of coffee? Join our team as a volunteer at our welcome desk.  You will be responsible for answering calls, greeting visitors, and assisting staff with light clerical work.
