Women in Politics

Join us for a dynamic evening of Women in Politics. This panel presentation of local female political leaders is sure to inspire. In 2019, a record number of women now serve as Representatives and Senators in Congress but still make up only 28 percent of the entire Congress, compared to 50 percent of the U.S. population. The panelists will highlight the contributions of women in politics, talk about the challenges for women, what inspired their involvement, and the accomplishments or goals they have as elected officials.
